About me
Passion for helping you live your best life
We each have those things that make us individuals and make us unique. My deep belief is that we are here on this earth for a reason which has driven my life. Life is about change, but life can throw us some challenges.
My early working life included completing a Master of Public Administration while managing a provincial health project. Years of leading health programs, including chronic disease management, developing expertise in quality improvement, and mentoring others, followed. A few years ago, I knew my path needed to include pursuing counselling and psychotherapy, and I completed the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
Once upon a time, not that long ago, we were taught that how we think, and act, was pretty much hard-wired in our brains by late childhood - but we now know better. Our brains are more "plastic" than we once thought, and we change and grow throughout our lives. My particular interests include how we can use this emerging neurophysiological research on what is "wired together fires together" to help us make changes to live our best life. If this intrigues you, contact me. You do not need to do this alone.
I shared some photos in the accompanying carousel to help you get to know me a little. I hope you enjoy the images. I look forward to meeting you and journeying together.
